Tree Dedicated to Anna Mirabai Lytton

A ceremony to dedicate a dogwood tree and plaque in memory of Anna Mirabai Lytton took place on Wednesday in East Hampton Village. Anna died three years ago after being struck by a car while riding her bicycle to a summer job. She was 14.

The Police Benevolent Association of East Hampton arranged for the memorial. The gathering on Wednesday was attended by her parents, Rameshwar Das and Kate Rabinowitz, family and friends, Village Police Chief Gerard Larsen, and police officers and others who responded to the call for help following the accident.
